Love Your Sister

It doesn't matter what they are doing or what they may be fighting about...all I have to say is "love your sister" and they both immediately grab each other and pose...as you can see in the pictures.

Chilly Weather

Last Saturday, the girls enjoyed playing outside during my crossfit challenge. The air was definitely cold! I love the pictures of the girls trying to take pictures with our big 'ole camera!

My Little Big Girl

Madison's 1st Day of Preschool

On September 8, 2009 Madison started her 1st day at Central Christian Preschool. The highlight of her first day? Carrying her new princess backpack. Ah…the life of a 3-year old!

Decatur Police Picnic

Last Saturday, we went to the Decatur Police Picnic and the girls had a great time playing on the playground, jumping in the bouncy houses, and eating lots of JUNK! Katy was definitely in "camera mode" and Madison ran away from me every time I tried to take her picture.

Katy's 1st Day of Kindergarten

August 18th was Katy's first day in kindergarten at Meridian Primary School. It was a bittersweet morning, but we managed to hold back the tears while we watched our little girl get on that big, yellow school bus.

Spoiled Rotten

The girls' birthday present from us...and it has seatbelts and FM radio. Need I say more? Spoiled ROTTEN!

Happy 3rd Birthday Madison

Madison had a great time at her birthday party, too! She will be 3 on August 18th! Here are some pictures...including her birthday cake, blowing out the candles (check out her face), a nose full of cake and the best picture of all...Madison in her yellow polka-dot undies wearing her new roller skates! Priceless!

Happy 5th Birthday Katy!

On August 2nd, Katy turned 5 years old! I decided to make her birthday cake this year...and I was pleased with the results. Happy 5th of July!

We celebrated the 4th of July on the "5th of July" because of the rain. The girls had a fun afternoon playing with their cousins and we then headed to Warrensburg to watch the fireworks.

A Haircut for Katy

Katy decided she wanted to cut her hair short for the rest of the summer. I may be biased as her parent, but I think she looks absolutely adorable with this new haircut!

Swimmin' in the Rain

Of course now that we have a pool...the weather has not been cooperating! Our plans for the 4th of July were postponed due to rain, so Charley and the kids decided to jump in the pool and swim. The air temperature was colder than the water temperature! They had a blast swimming in the rain!
