A Visit from Santa

A Teenager...

My niece Rachel is 13!! This would be Jill's oldest daughter. She invited 50 friends to her party and they had a blast in the jousting ring! Rachel got a brand new laptop for her birthday...SPOILED!!! Wonder what she will get for her 16th birthday!!

Gone Skatin'

We took the girls ice skating...and what an adventure it was!! Katy is skating better this year, but still needs her dad's assistance! And Madison actually got on the ice this year and stayed in the rink!

Happy Birthday Charley!

We celebrated Charley's birthday with friends, family, a big "cupcake" cake and a big crock pot full of chili. The girls had so much fun singing happy birthday and helping Daddy blow out his birthday candles! Happy Birthday!

Piles of Leaves

I set my camera to shoot and select...which means I am capable of taking fast-action shots of the girls doing various things. On this particular day...it was warm for November and the girls wanted to help Charley rake leaves. I think I took about 150 pictures and then had to narrow it down to just a few to post on my blog. Here are the pictures I picked...and there are lots of leaves, smiles, crazy hair, and two little girls having the time of their lives!

Trick or Treat?

Katy decided that she wanted to be a butterfly princess and Madison wanted to be Tinkerbell! Their outfits were complete with curled hair, crowns and lots of fun makeup and pink lipgloss! We enjoyed going to Mt. Calvary's Trick or Trunk and the girls ended up with WAY to much candy!

Bowling Fun

The girls went to Brook's birthday party and got to eat cupcakes and bowl!! Madison was very determined to do the whole "bowling thing" by herself. She would not let me help her...and she actually did pretty well! At least she didn't drop the ball on her foot! And Katy is such a big girl now... the only thing I got to help her with was finding the right size of her bowling shoes!

Love Your Sister

It doesn't matter what they are doing or what they may be fighting about...all I have to say is "love your sister" and they both immediately grab each other and pose...as you can see in the pictures.

Chilly Weather

Last Saturday, the girls enjoyed playing outside during my crossfit challenge. The air was definitely cold! I love the pictures of the girls trying to take pictures with our big 'ole camera!

My Little Big Girl

Here are a couple of pictures of our KatyBug. She is turning into such a big girl! She is loving her kindergarten class and is also enjoying a full schedule of ballet & tap class and tumbling class, too!

Madison's 1st Day of Preschool

On September 8, 2009 Madison started her 1st day at Central Christian Preschool. The highlight of her first day? Carrying her new princess backpack. Ah…the life of a 3-year old!
