February Sticker Chart

Katy earned a sticker for every single day in February!! We are so proud of her! For her reward (per her request), we are having a "Mommy & Katy Day". We are going to have lunch, do a little shopping and get pedicures! Stay tuned for the pictures!

Lil' Cheer Camp

Katy attended the Meridian Lil' Cheer Camp and then cheered during halftime at the Boys Basketball game. She definitely has the loud voice going for her...

Pajama Party

It's a Pajama Party! At school! Naturally she HAD to wear her all-time favorite jammies which she wears almost every night. Tinkerbell. And her outfit couldn't be complete without her pink, fuzzy slippers and piggytails.

Maddy-Bear

Just looking at these couple of pictures reminds me of how onry Maddy really is! I took these pictures in February to document her "curly" hair turning into "straight" hair. She was so sad when she looked into the mirror and didn't see her curls. One morning...very sad-faced...she begged me to make her hair curly again. I am happy to report that the curls have returned! Maybe it was just a few bad hair days??

KLH

I posted a few different pictures of Katy. The first picture was taken right before she attended "dance camp" at Meridian High School. She got to perform with the Meridian Dance Team during half-time of a basketball game. The second picture is Katy with her completed January sticker chart. She earns a sticker every night for good behavior. I really enjoy making these charts for the girls...and they both love to see what I come up with every month! The third picture is Katy and her cousin Marissa lounging on the couch. The last picture is of me and the girls...hanging out and watching the movie "Annie".

A Birthday "Tea" Party

On January 30, 2010 the girls attended a friend's birthday "tea" party. They enjoyed getting dressed up in dresses and hats, wearing a little bit of makeup and had loads of fun playing games with 30 other little girls.

Build A Bear

On January 2, 2010 we took the girls to the Build A Bear Workshop in Springfield. Talk about spending some cash!! Wow!! Why weren't there shops like these when I was a kid! It was our first time to the Build A Bear Workshop and the girls thoroughly enjoyed picking out their own bear, stuffing it, cleaning it and picking out an outfit for their bear to wear. It only took Katy 40 minutes to decide which outfit would best "suit" her bear. I can only imagine what life will be like when she is 10 and picking out her own clothes!

Got Lip Gloss?

Priceless pictures that had to be shared. Madison absolutely LOVES to play "dress-up" and also LOVES any type of makeup that she can smear or rub all over her face. She is such a little diva!

Christmas Dresses

The girls LOVE to wear dresses. These dresses were given to them by Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Bill on Sunday...and both girls just HAD to wear them the very next day to school. So of course I made them both pose in front of Charley's hunting tree. (No this is not our Christmas tree!)

Our Little Dancer

Here is our little dancer before her debut performance at her Christmas Dance Recital. It is a fundrasier the Dance Center puts on to raise money for the Salvation Army. The money goes toward buying toys for kids!

A Visit from Santa

Every year, Santa and Mrs. Claus come a little early to our house to visit the kids and they check to make sure all the kids are being good! Katy asked Santa for a digital camera and a laptop. Yes folks...she's a whopping 5 years old and already wants a laptop. I am surprised she didn't ask me for a new cell phone. Madison asked Santa for a "Whoopsie" Doll. For those of you who don't know...the "Whoopsie Doll is a doll that poops. Great for me. She also asked for...and I quote..."lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of MAKEUP."
